Bernadette La Casse has lived on the Chesapeake Bay since 2005 and loves the unique charm and laid back pace of the region. She has been involved in real estate since 2014, and looks forward to helping you navigate your real estate needs. Bernadette is proud to have been voted one of the Top Agents in Virginia, and works closely with her team as Broker for the busy Mathews/Gloucester branch office of Horsley Real Estate. She is dedicated to providing the critical local and regulatory information necessary for her clients.
Bernadette brings over 30 years’ experience in corporate operations – including strategic level and consulting positions with global manufacturing, financial services and pharmaceutical corporations. Her experience in corporate finance and management help facilitate these sometimes complex real estate transactions. Bernadette holds a BS in Mathematics from Potsdam College and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She and her family live in Mathews, Virginia, on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.

Alease has over 30 years of experience in customer service and has spent the last 16 years in public service in the education and human services fields. Alease enjoys boating, fishing, and beach combing along the Chesapeake Bay. She also enjoys adding new finds to her ever increasing flower garden. She is familiar with the Middle Peninsula and has many insights into the unique offerings of each area of Mathews, Gloucester, and Middlesex. She currently lives in Mathews with her husband, children, and Golden Retriever, Haven.

Joyce Wise, REALTOR, grew up in the Northern Neck and has an extensive background in customer service. She brings 20 years of experience in Marketing & Sales with a prominent retirement community, where she served as a passionate and dedicated vessel to her clients, helping them find their forever home. This experience prompted her to create a downsizing and decluttering business, further aiding her clients.
She currently works in the Human Services field, where she is able to bring her skill set and breadth of knowledge to those who are less fortunate. The importance of ‘home’ is evident in everything she does and she brings this devotion to her work with her clients. Joyce resides in Gloucester with her husband and enjoys family time.

She immediately fell in love with the beautiful landscape, peace and quiet, the amazing people who live here and decided to stay! Delena has been the owner of a massage therapy practice serving the surrounding communities for 16 years. She has cultivated a loyal client base by building her business on trust and keeping her client’s best interest in mind at all times.

Originally from Massachusetts, Tim and his family moved to Mathews County and quickly fell in love with its simplicity, coastal beauty, and tight-knit community. With a background in EMT services and seven years of experience with Heritage Museum and Gardens on Cape Cod, Tim brings a strong service mindset and a deep appreciation for outdoor spaces to his real estate work.
He uses his hands-on facilities and horticulture knowledge to help clients find the perfect home in the Middle Peninsula—just as he did. When he’s not helping buyers and sellers, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters exploring local restaurants, beaches, and the Mathews community they now call home.
